A youth club no longer has to run on messenger groups and a paper register. Coaches, parents and kids get a calendar, one-tap attendance and player cards with points in a single app. Our own product.

Challenge

A youth club usually runs on several messenger groups, a spreadsheet and a paper register. Parents don't know when to show up, coaches don't know who is coming, and absence notes get lost in chat.

Coaches do most of the work on the pitch with a phone in one hand. There is no time for forms or for switching between age groups.

Solution

Nallio Sport gives the club one place for training, matches, attendance and messages. Coaches, parents and kids each see their own version of the app, and the built-in guide talks to each of them differently.

Attendance is one tap per name. Parents excuse a child with a reason, and the coach sees it in the list. Training groups can span age groups and have a fixed weekly schedule, so sessions appear in the calendar a month ahead on their own.

Kids stay motivated with player cards styled like football trading cards: points from the coach, badges, a leaderboard and challenges. Coaches can enter matches and stats by voice.

How it works

  1. 1

    Club and age groups

The club sets up its age groups and invites coaches, parents and players. Everyone sees only what belongs to them.

  2. 2

    Calendar and schedule

The coach enters the group's regular slots and sessions are created automatically. Parents get a reminder on their phone.

  3. 3

    Attendance on the pitch

Presence is one tap per name, and excuses with a reason show up straight away.

  4. 4

    Points and cards

The coach awards points and ratings; the player sees them on their card and in the leaderboard.

On the phone

  • Quick attendance on a phone with a list of players
Attendance on the pitch: tap a name to mark present or absent.
  • Voice control with four actions: stats, match, training, tournament
Voice control: the coach says what he needs and the app fills in the form.

What it does

  • Training and match calendar, with one view across all of a coach's age groups
  • One-tap attendance and absence notes with a reason
  • Training groups across age groups, with a schedule that creates sessions on its own
  • Player cards, badges, leaderboard and challenges shared across age groups
  • Voice control for stats, matches, sessions and tournaments
  • Session planner built from a drill library, plus an AI assistant for coaches
  • Alert when a player has missed three or more events in a row
  • Suggested moves to the next age group by birth year
  • Phone notifications and group messages
  • Installs to the home screen as an app

Outcome

The app is in live use. What we add next comes from what coaches and club management ask for.

Next up is attendance without signal: the entry is saved on the phone and sent once it reconnects.
