Campsite website
Guests book a cabin themselves, no phone calls needed

A South Bohemian campsite took bookings by phone and email, and guests couldn't tell whether a cabin was free. The new site shows open dates, enforces the summer Saturday-to-Saturday rule, and lets the owner manage bookings, prices and copy alone.
Challenge
The campsite has fifteen units by a large fishpond and took bookings by phone and email. Guests couldn't tell from the website whether a cabin was free on their dates, and the owner handled every enquiry by hand.
In summer, cabins are let only in full weeks from Saturday to Saturday, and by the night out of season. A generic booking form can't handle rules like that.
Solution
We built a site where guests pick a cabin and click their arrival and departure dates in a calendar. The calendar shows booked days and in July and August accepts only Saturday-to-Saturday stays. The system checks availability straight away, and the guest gets a summary by email.
The owner has a login-protected admin for bookings and cabins, photos and prices, page copy and breakfast orders. Every admin login is recorded.
Guests can filter accommodation by capacity and amenities (air conditioning, private shower and WC, waterside). A local area page lists day trips with links to official sites. The site has a privacy policy and a cookie bar that sets essential cookies only.

How it works
- 1
Pick a cabin
Guests filter cabins by group size and amenities.
- 2
Dates
They click arrival and departure in the calendar and see booked days at once.
- 3
Booking
The system checks availability, saves the booking and emails the guest a summary.
- 4
Confirmation
The owner sees the booking in the admin and confirms it.
What it does
- Booking calendar with Saturday-to-Saturday rule in high season
- Availability check at booking time
- Accommodation filter by capacity and amenities
- Breakfast ordering and management
- Admin for bookings, photos, prices and copy
- A record of who logged in to the admin and when
- Runs on its own server
From the project

Outcome
The site is finished and ready to hand over to the owner, with a guide for running it on its own server. It isn't live yet: the campsite's domain still shows the old site.
